Labour Market 101 reviews the labour market and provides the resources and tools necessary for career professionals to develop their labour-market-informed practice. While labour market

information is useful in all career development roles, this workshop recognizes that LMI is used differently based on the work being done, whether it is engaging an employer, operating a resource

centre, hosting a training session, providing employment counselling or managing a career development team. This workshop is essential for anyone who is new to the career development sector and those looking to sharpen their LMI skills. This training session includes a broad and comprehensive look at Ontario’s labour market, major trends and projections, providing a wholistic look at how LMI comes into practice in five separate career development roles including: Case Managers; Resource Room Advisors; Facilitators; Job Developers; and Managers / Supervisors.
