Lorraine Katanik is a Certified Career Development Practitioner and holds a diploma in Career Counselling from George Brown College with over 30 years of managerial experience in the not-for-profit and private sectors.

Lorraine has worked from frontline service to program management. In recent years, she has focused on developing resources, tools and professional development opportunities to support the skill enhancement of staff and managers in the sector. Lorraine served on many provincial and national stakeholder committees and boards within the Career Development sector including the creation of the National Competency Framework.

Zana Dragovich championed projects of substantial scope and complexity related to economic and LM integration of individuals and businesses, by conceptualizing and growing essential, career-related services into high-quality, full-scale, highly responsive, and sustainable operations.

Zana plays a recognized role in the industry of talent engagement and employability enhancement, and continuously advances processes, tools, and strategies. She specializes in accreditation and qualification information, professional recognition and sector-specific alternative solutions. Zana is a Certified Career Development Practitioner, Certified PLAR/RPL Practitioner and Portfolio Advisor, Expert in Enterprise Case Management, and in Comprehensive Needs Assessment for Spectrum of Different Learning Abilities. At present, she is also a Member of the National Certification Advisory Committee (NCAC).​

For over 12 years, Tracy McDonald has served as Employment Services Supervisor and Job Developer at CSE Consulting, helping jobseekers find meaningful work and supporting employers in building strong teams. She specializes in career coaching, resume development, interview preparation, and program facilitation, bringing an empathetic, holistic approach to every interaction. Known as a trusted advisor, Tracy is committed to professional excellence and advancing the field to positively impact individuals and empower communities.
Tracy actively contributes to workforce development and inclusion through her roles on several advisory boards, including the NG Community Economic Development Advisory Committee, the St. Lawrence–Rideau Immigration Partnership, and is honoured to now serve with CDPOntario.
Outside of work, Tracy enjoys connecting with her community, staying current on industry trends through continuous learning, and spending time with her family and beloved dogs—because balance matters.

A Certified Career Development Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, Norm Wiseman currently serves as the Director of Employment Services at Pathways Employment Help Centre in London, Ontario.

Throughout his career, he has worked as a career coach, facilitator, and leader, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in achieving meaningful employment. Norm brings a strong commitment to client-centered service and a deep understanding of the evolving employment landscape. In addition to his role at Pathways, Norm serves on the board of the Employment Sector Council in London, where he collaborates with sector partners to strengthen local employment services. He is passionate about building inclusive, effective systems that help people thrive in work and life.

Barbara Wilson is a Certified Career Development Practitioner with over 25 years of experience as a learning, talent management, and career development professional.

Barbara joined Challenge Factory in 2024 as their Consulting Director. Challenge Factory is a research and advisory firm that uses best practices from the international career development field to deliver high-value, impactful consulting engagements in areas of career development, workforce development, leadership development, and human-centric workplaces. Barbara also has her own practice, Thrive Career Consulting, supporting mid-career professionals to find career clarity, confidence and change through coaching and career education since 2018. For over 4 years, she provided dedicated internal mobility coaching and career education workshops for employees of the University of Toronto. As the former Chair of the Ontario Association of Career Management (OACM), Barbara is honoured to serve on the board of CDPOntario.

Gillian Johnston

Gillian has been a dedicated professional in career development since 1977, serving as a counsellor, educator, and consultant.

She co-founded and co-chaired the Ontario Alliance Career Development Practitioners (OACDP). She has played a pivotal role at George Brown College, as Coordinator/Professor of the Career and Work Counsellor Programme and Career Development Practitioner graduate certificate program, and currently teaches part-time. As a Founding Director and Chair of CDPCBO, she assessed certification applications, delivered training, and represented career development practitioners across Ontario. Nationally, she contributed to the creation of the National Competency Framework, the National Code of Ethics, and the National Standards and Guidelines for Career Development Practitioners. Recognized nationally and internationally, Gillian received the Stu Conger Leadership Award for Leadership in Career Counselling and Career Development from CCDF, the Etta St. John Wileman Award for Outstanding Achievement in Career Development from CERIC, National Career Development Association (USA) International Award for her efforts in establishing the profession in the UAE, solidifying her reputation as a leader in the field.
