This hands-on course will help you understand what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, why it matters, and how is changing the way we live and work. Love it or not, AI is already shaping workplaces and career
development practice. Together, we will explore what this means for you and the people you support. We will begin by setting up an AI account of your choice and learning the basics, then move into practical, everyday applications such as finding information, writing and improving content, brainstorming ideas, and getting things done. We will also explore how AI can support career development practice while discussing privacy, ethics, limitations, and simple ways to stay safe.
Each week, you will have time to practice, ask questions, and build your own personal toolkit for using AI at work and at home. There will be assignments, specifically related to how you would use AI in your role at work, to complete between webinars.
